SCG HOME Experience invites students and anyone interested in home and residential design to participate in a competition to design homes for real living, focusing on sustainable designs for seniors in the ‘DESIGN CONTEST 2024’, the pinnacle of home design projects for the elderly this year.

Thanyakwin Buddhi-me, Managing Director of SCG Experience Co., Ltd. (SCG HOME Experience), officially announced the launch of the ‘DESIGN CONTEST 2024’, building on last year's success. This year’s theme emphasizes sustainable living designs for the elderly, or Sustainable Living, under the Care Design concept, which aims to educate participants on appropriate design principles and materials for senior living. Participants must be students in architecture and design from the second year onward, either individually or in groups, as well as professional architects or freelancers, both individually and in groups, to discover new home designers who can create homes that meet sustainable living needs.

Submissions must include three key components: 1. Concepts and designs for single-family homes and surrounding landscapes, considering Sustainable Living Design principles; 2. Concepts, design styles, and material usage under the SCG umbrella and Crystal Design Center; 3. Practical design concepts that can be implemented, which are crucial for the judging panel's consideration.

For those interested in participating in the ‘DESIGN CONTEST 2024’, SCG HOME Experience will accept submissions starting from September 1, 2024, until October 11, 2024, with results announced on November 25, 2024.
